Actually, I'm not misquoting Reagan. He did, in fat, say, "facts are stupid things - stubborn things, I should say" (1988 Republican National Convention). And I was speaking tongue in cheek. We very obviously have a difference in opinion but that doesn't mean one has to take everything so seriously.

Ronald Reagan once (rather amusingly) misspoke, "Facts are stupid things" :-).
