I do have children and come from a family whom my mother and grandmother were both grade school teachers. I asked my mother how she felt about my comments and she is total agreement. She also will not allow me to send my kids to a school with a ration of 30+ : 1 ... And I will send my children to a private school .. Until this school district can prove to me that they have done everything they can to save or be somewhat responsible to this community. I have no choice but to reject any request for additional funding. Its called accountability. A little pain , in the end is a betterment to all. I feel your passion, but I am an engineer, I do very deep critical thinking for a living. I am sorry you feel that i am a shamefull human being, but I think things through to the best of my ability before speaking. And on this forum, I want the best for all my children too. Shameful, I am not.
