I am relieved that the" Lawn Mowing Permit Ordinance" failed by one vote!
I'm hoping to get a few lightbulbs changed next weekend and I sure hope my permit is ready by that time.

Hmm..Now that you say he has a recurring theme of letting people be free to do as they see fit, i think I have to give Jankowski some serious consideration. I am not overly concerned with this issue, but if a candidate is in favor of some sensible "lightening up" of unreasonable ordinances, that sounds pretty good. Enough $500-1000 home improvement projects have been delayed or cancelled just because going "by the book" would turn them into $3000+ projects. The village is way too nosey and imposing on some stuff with its municipal codes. Again, this particular issue doesn't concern me but thanks, Mr Waldack, for pointing out a positive about a candidate!
