ReplyAs a teacher that was cut last year due to the budget crisis, I chose to take the high rode. Yes, I was angry, upset and heartbroken that I could no longer pursue my passion, but I decided immediately that this wasn't about my feelings, I would instead dedicate all my time to making things right again in the district. This is why I am an active member for the Citizens Group! As I wipe away my tears every morning while dropping off my children knowing that I should be entering the building with them, I will continue to fight till the end for the children, community and staff members that only want what is best. Becoming educated about the FACTS is a right and an obligation that everyone should take part in! The reason that the Citizens group is so informed is because of the countless hours that so many volunteers have dedicated to becoming educated. There is no better feeling then knowing that you made a difference in the life of a child. This is your chance to know that you helped make a difference! So please, stop arguing and join me on the high rode!
