Cindi Lash
Editor, Pittsburgh Magazine
Cindi Lash is the editor-in-chief of Pittsburgh Magazine, which she joined in April 2013. She is also a former regional editor with Patch in Western PA. She joined Patch in October 2010 as a regional editor, serving communities where she grew up, attended school and worked for years as a journalist.
She previously was the Sunday Editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, where she oversaw all aspects of producing content for the largest edition of Western Pennsylvania's oldest and dominant newspaper. She also was a local news editor and reporter at the Post-Gazette, where she won national, state and regional journalism awards. Her career also has included stints at The Pittsburgh Press, Birmingham (Ala.) News, Washington (Pa.) Observer-Reporter, and Indiana (Pa.) Gazette as well as a sojourn into corporate communications with the Reed Smith LLP law firm. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she serves on its journalism advisory board. Resident of Mt. Lebanon, married, proud mother of sons David and Brendan, harried minder of two crazed dogs, a constant reader, hockey fan, Springsteen fanatic and decent cook. Also a believer in Patch's mission to bring comprehensive coverage and informed conversation to her friends and neighbors in Western Pennsylvania.
