Congressman Lipinski Plans Senior Fairs

Seniors from Illinois's Third Congressional District can get up close and personal with Congressman Dan Lipinski (D-IL). A senior fair will take place Feb. 18 in Lemont.

Congressman Dan Lipinski is hosting three senior fairs in February – in Lemont, Orland Hills and Mt. Greenwood. Members of the congressman's staff will be on hand at the fairs to assist and guide seniors with questions about Medicare, Social Security, veterans benefits and a host of other federal programs. The senior fairs will also feature dozens of local organizations, agencies and businesses that provide services specifically geared toward seniors. Lipinski's senior fairs are scheduled for: “As your representative in Washington and someone who strives to improve the quality of life in the communities I serve, it is critical that I hear from you,” Rep. Letter to the Editor: Lipinski Thanks Voters

Congressman Dan Lipinski (D-IL) makes a statement on being re-elected to a 5th term in the House of Representatives in the Third District.

I want to thank the voters of the Third District for their overwhelming support and thank all of my supporters for their hard work during this campaign. I am humbled by today’s victory and I look forward to representing all of the people of the new Third District.  Throughout this campaign, I heard from Independents, Republicans and Democrats who are frustrated with partisan bickering that accomplishes nothing. Many told me that they appreciate my independent leadership and my willingness to listen to them, and do what is right for the district and the country. Lemont Students Present Green Business Plans to Lawmakers in Washington DC

Seventh-and eighth-grade students from Project Infinite Green attended a caucus on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education on Friday.

Congressman Dan Lipinski (IL-3) welcomed seventh-and eighth-grade students from Lemont to Washington on Thursday, congratulating them on the sustainable energy plans they presented to members of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education Caucus as part of Project Infinite Green. Project Infinite Green is a new afterschool program that brings together energy experts from government and the private sector to teach students about renewable energy and help them to develop plans for its increased use.
