Prom Dress Resale Deemed a Success
Hope and Friendship Foundation’s event provided beautiful dresses to young women while raising funds to benefit local family dealing with a health crisis.
Donors gave than 200 prom dresses as well as women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, shoes and accessories for the Hope and Friendship Foundation’s fifth annual “Give That Dress a Second Night Out” resale event Saturday at Christ Community Church in Lemont. Terri O’Neill Borders of the Hope and Friendship Foundation said Michelle Zaper, owner of Belle de Jour in downtown Lemont, also donated brand-new clothing from her former store, “In Style,” which closed last year.
