No Injuries Reported in School Bus Crash on Wolf Road: Police (UPDATE)

A school bus from Lemont was reportedly involved in a rear-end crash, police said. It wasn't immediately clear if any students were present. No injuries have been reported.

Updated 12:50 p.m. Friday Eight people, including several students, were involved in a crash between a school bus and van Thursday afternoon, police said. No one was injured. Both vehicles were owned by the same company, according to Palos Park police. The van reportedly rear ended the bus. Palos Park police were called at about 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Wolf and McCarthy roads. The Lemont bus appears to have been involved in a rear-end collision, said Palos Park Chief Joe Miller. It was not immediately clear if students were on the bus when the crash occurred. Cal Sag Road Closure Could Last Through Friday

Jet fuel from a pipeline spilled into nearby land and the Calumet Sag Channel, prompting a closure of the waterway Monday.

An effort to clean up a jet fuel spill likely could keep Cal Sag Road closed through Friday, local officials announced Tuesday. Federal, state and local agencies, as well as the company that operates the pipeline, continue to address a fuel line break that spilled onto land near the roadway. Manufacturing a replacement for the section of pipe that leaked is taking longer than expected, one Palos Park official said. The West Shore Pipeline Company is in the process of fixing the section of the company's Badger Pipe Line System, which supplies jet fuel. Cal Sag Road (Route 83) is closed from Southwest Highway to Route 45. Traffic can detour around the site by using 111th, 123rd and 95th and 119th, officials said. Palos Park staff, …
