A lost dog was found Tuesday in the 700 block of Czacki Street, police said.
A lost dog is being held at the Lemont Police Department. The dog was found around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Czacki Street, and is currently being held at the Lemont police station, 14600 W. 127th St. The dog is black with a white patch on his chest and is wearing a blue collar. The lost dog was found Saturday, April 27, and is currently being held by Lemont police.

Lemont Police are still holding this black and white male pup that was found on State Street at about 6:30 p.m. Friday. Do you know where he lives?
The Lemont Police Department at 14600 W. 127th St. is still holding this black and white male dog that was found in the 1300 block of State Street at about 6:30 p.m. Friday. Police say the pup appears to be less than a year old and may be a pit bull mix. According to Police Chief Kevin Shaughnessy, the dog is not microchipped, but is well-trained. He was found wearing a black sweater with a skull and crossbones on it. If you know where this dog lives, call the police department at 630-257-2229.

Bella, a 3-year-old Toy Yorkie, was lost Saturday night in Briarcliffe Estates.

Wend St., will host a beginner class on the search engine Google on Tuesday, May 29, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Several of the Google features will be examined including finding images, video and translating text. Searching tips will also be given. A $5 deposit is required from Lemont Library cardholders at the time of registration. Deposits will be refunded when attending the class.
