Lemont High School Lauds Students of the Month
Each month, LHS honors a student from each grade level for hard work and dedication to the school and the community. Selections rotate among the school’s various departments from month to month.
Four Lemont High School students were recognized as Students of the Month at the district’s Board of Education meeting Nov.19. Included among the honorees were senior Aubrey Tally (Music); junior Joe Ziebell (Mathematics); sophomore Rogelio Delatorre (Business) and freshman Michael Petruzzi (Science). Michael Petruzzi, Science The Science Department named Michael Petruzzi as the Freshman Student of the Month. Michael notes that he likes many of his classes but that he most enjoys Biology Honors and Cultural Geography. Cited as an excellent student and a conscientious young man, his teachers note that he is a leader in the classroom and in athletics.
