Crete-Monee made a comeback late in the fourth quarter of their 6A semifinal playoff game against Lemont led by quarterback Marcus Terrell in their 28-27 win.
Breaking It Down: Lemont looked like it was going to be able to hold on to a lead they built in the first half once again, but Crete-Monee rallied with less than four minutes in the fourth quarter. After a 56-yard touchdown pass by Warriors' quarterback Marcus Terrell was negated on Crete-Monee's ninth penalty of the contest, the Warriors could have lost their composure. But they didn't. Forty-one yards, five plays and a successful two-point conversion run in by Terrell later, Crete-Monee had its first lead of the night, going up 28-27. Indians will face the Bengals in Saturday’s quarterfinal game in Oak Forest. Lemont fans are encouraged to wear white to show their support.
Lemont will hit the road again in the quarterfinal round of the 2012 IHSA Class 6A Football Playoffs. The third-seeded Indians (10-1) will travel to top-seeded Oak Forest (10-1) for a 7 p.m. game on Saturday, Nov. 10. The winner will square off in the Class 6A semifinals against the winner of the Crete-Monee/Ottawa game. Due to broadcast rights restrictions, the location online where fans can watch the game has changed. Ethan Pocic, a senior football player from Lemont High School, was presented his honorary game jersey at the American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2013 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game at Lemont High School Friday. The event was part of the three-month American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the Under Armour All-America Game. Pocic, who has verbally committed to LSU, is one of 90 players selected to compete in the sixth-annual Under Armour All-America Game presented by American Family Insurance, a nationally televised competition spotlighting the country’s top high school seniors. Lemont 47, Bremen 7: The Indians went on the warpath in a South Suburban Blue victory on Friday night.
Lemont looked sharp on offense and defense as it trounced Bremen 47-7 in a South Suburban Blue Conference matchup on Friday night. The Indians (7-1 and 4-1) will wrap up their regular season when they play host to Thornton Francational North on Oct. 19. Check out the photo gallery.

Crystal, from what I read, nobody said that Crete only had one player. They were talking about the taunting that came from Lemont fans directed towards that one player. Crete is loaded with talent as well as Lemont. Like Bill said, that player probably wasn't upset. He probably hears it often and I'm guessing uses it as motivation to play even harder.
