Lemont Junior Woman’s Club Offers Scholarships
Local organization offers funds to Lemont students who demonstrate dedication to community service.
Lemont residents who demonstrate a dedication to community service could earn $1,000 in scholarship funds from the Lemont Junior Woman’s Club. The organization will award three scholarships in May to applicants who have made outstanding contributions to the community through volunteerism. Qualified applicants include residents of Lemont who are either high school seniors (men or women) or adult women returning to school. The LJWC’s review committee is seeking applicants with a history of community service, a demonstrated commitment to volunteerism and strong academic performance.
