The Lemont Park District hosted its annual Independence Day Extravaganza on Tuesday at Centennial Park.
Thousands packed the Centennial Park on Sunday for the Lemont Park District's annual Independence Day Extravaganza. The event featured several local food vendors, live music, a bean bag tournament, a skateboard competition and a number of activities for kids. The night was capped off by a 35-minute firework display, which was simulcast on 104.1 FM. Have any good photos from Sunday's event? Festivities begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Centennial Park, 16028 W. 127th St. Scheduled activities include a skateboarding competition, 3-on-3 basketball and bean bag tournaments, and live music.
