Three LHS Musicians Join Top Performers at Conference in Peoria
Lemont High School's Maggie Brown, Vince Dory and Nick Dory will participate in the Illinois Music Educators Association All-State Conference next week.
Three Lemont High School students – seniors Maggie Brown (BBb contra bass clarinet), Vince Dory (Bb bass clarinet) and Nick Dory (composition) – will participate in the upcoming Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) All-State Conference, which will be held Jan. 23-26 at the Peoria Civic Center. Nick Dory has already earned runner-up accolades in his category in the All-State Composition contest. The IMEA All-State Conference attracts the top performers from across the state, and includes guest conductors, seminars and a number of concert performances.
