Hope & Friendship Foundation invites individuals and business owners to Hope and Friendship Day from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at The Vault, 308 Canal St. The event will take place in conjunction with the Hometown Holiday celebration in downtown Lemont. The afternoon will provide a forum for members of the community to meet, share ideas and provide feedback and leads on resources to help Hope and Friendship Foundation be the most effective conduit possible between those who have and those who need. Hope and Friendship Foundation is encouraging community members to commit $20 per month (or whatever amount they can offer) to help the 501 C3 public charity continue to be a resource that assists those in need.
