Football: Lemont Junior Ethan Pocic Up to 20 Scholarship Offers

The Chicago Tribune reports that Texas A&M, Clemson, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Missouri are the latest to offer scholarships to the standout offensive tackle.

The college scholarship offers continue to pile up for Lemont High School junior Ethan Pocic. Pocic—a 6-foot-6, 285-pound offensive lineman—received five offers last week, bringing his total to 20, the Chicago Tribune reports The most recent offers are from Texas A&M, Clemson, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Missouri. According to his ESPN recruiting profile, Pocic has also received offers from Arkansas, Arizona, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Purdue, Tennessee, University of Southern California, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Lemont's Ethan Pocic Named to ESPN Chicago's All-Area Football Team

The junior offensive lineman has already received scholarship offers from Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Purdue, West Virginia and Arizona.

Lemont High School junior Ethan Pocic has been named to ESPNChicago.com's All-Area football team. Pocic — a 6-foot-6, 285-pound offensive lineman — was one of 35 Chicago-area players to receive the honor. He led his team to a 12-1 season in 2011, and is considered to be one of the top offensive linemen in the state, ESPN reports. Lemont's Ethan Pocic Earns All-State Football Honors

The 6-foot-6, 285-pound junior has already received scholarship offers from Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Purdue, West Virginia and Arizona.

Lemont High School junior Ethan Pocic has been named to the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association All-State team for Class 6A, the organization announced Thursday. Pocic, an offensive linemen, has led his team to a 12-0 season in 2011. The Indians will attempt to earn their first state finals berth since 2008 when they take on Peoria Richwoods (9-3) in the IHSA semifinals Saturday.
