Lemont High School Honors Students of the Month
Each month, LHS recognizes a student from each grade level for hard work and dedication to the school and the community. Selections rotate among the school’s various departments from month to month.
Four Lemont High School students were recognized as December Students of the Month at the district’s Board of Education meeting Dec. 17. The honorees are senior Esperanza Aleman (Social Studies), junior Bethany Timm (Learning Resource Center), sophomore Christine Martinez (English) and freshman Misbah Chagpar (Industrial Technology). Esperanza Aleman, Senior, Social Studies The Social Studies Department chose Esperanza Aleman as Senior Student of the Month. Esperanza has earned high honor roll honors during her academic career - and her favorite class is the Certified Nursing Assistant program in which she’s enrolled at the Wilco Area Career Center.
