Police Blotter: Stolen Coach Purse, DUI

Lemont police reports, Nov. 8-14.

Alejandro M. Salgado, 20, of Harvey Street in Berwyn, was arrested at 7:34 p.m. in the 10300 block of Lemont Road. He was charged with driving with a suspended license, operating a vehicle with suspended registration and only one red taillight. John G. Skiba, 34, of Warner Avenue in Lemont, was arrested around 5:48 p.m. near State Street and Pieffer Avenue. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transport of alcohol and improper lane usage. Jenelle L. Williams, 28, of Hickory Street in Joliet, was arrested at 9:42 p.m. in the 13400 block of Archer Avenue. She was charged with driving with a suspended license and no insurance. LHS to Add Five to Athletic Hall of Fame This Weekend

Tim Duda, Jeff Festin, George McDevitt, Bob Nona and Bill Bozue will be honored at an induction ceremony Sunday at Cog Hill.

The Lemont High School Athletic Hall of Fame will welcome five new members Sunday with an induction ceremony and reception at Cog Hill Golf Club. Longtime coach Bill Bozue, "super fan" Bob Nona, and athletes Tim Duda, Jeff Festin and George McDevitt have been selected as the seventh class of inductees for the Hall of Fame, which was established in 2004. Nominations are accepted every year in three categories: Athlete, Coach and Parent/Community Member. Nominees "must be of good character, reflecting the qualities and ideals set forth in the school's Athletic Code of Conduct," according to the school's Web site.
