Lemont High School was be rewarded for its charitable efforts Monday when pop music star Cher Lloyd, a standout on Britain's version of "The X Factor," performed a private concert for students. Lloyd visited Lemont for Goodwill's "Faul Haul Donation Challenge," which encouraged Chicago-area high schools to donate gently-used clothing and household items to local Goodwill stores throughout the month of November.  Prior to Lloyd taking the stage for her acoustic set, B96's "DJ Flipside" entertained the crowd of 1,400-plus students, mashing together a medley of today's hottest songs, and J Niice and Showbiz Shelly from B96's morning show congratulated the students on their efforts in the "Fall Haul." Pop Singer Cher Lloyd to Perform Private Concert At Lemont High School

Lloyd, a standout contestant on Britain's version of "The X Factor," will put on a private concert March 18 after Lemont students won Goodwill's "Fall Haul Donation Challenge" in November.

Lemont High School will be rewarded for its charitable efforts next week when pop music star Cher Lloyd, a standout on Britain's version of "The X Factor," performs a private concert for students. Lloyd is scheduled to visit Lemont on March 18 as part of Goodwill's "Faul Haul Donation Challenge," which encouraged Chicago-area high schools to donate gently-used clothing and household items to local Goodwill stores throughout the month of November.  The Lemont Goodwill, located at 1146 State St., received nearly 51,000 donated items from students and community members—more than 50 percent more than the total of the second-place school, according to District 210 officials. Lemont High School encourages community to donate to Goodwill’s ‘Fall Haul’

LHS could win a free concert or other prizes by donating the greatest number of items Lemont Goodwill Store & Donation Center.

Members of the Lemont community can help Lemont High School by cleaning out their closets, tidying their garages and heading to one of Lemont’s newest businesses. Goodwill’s “Fall Haul Donation Challenge” - which runs from Nov. 1-30 - is an event in which all Lemont students, as well as the Lemont community, can participate. Students, staff and community members are encouraged to take their gently used clothing and household items to Lemont’s new Goodwill Store & Donation Center at 1146 State St. Donors should mention that they are contributing on behalf of Lemont High School for the “Fall Haul” program.
