St. Patrick Church -- a landmark site near the downtown area -- was founded in 1839 by a pioneer Catholic population…More of Irish, German and Polish immigrants. Today the church serves hundreds of families and offers daily Mass, religious education, music ministries and service opportunities.</p> <p>St. Patrick's and St. Alphonsus' elementary schools consolidated in 1967. Though students were originally divided between the two buildings based on grade, they are now housed in one building at 20W 145 Davey Road.</p>

The church offers regular masses, as well as music programs, service opportunities and Bible studies.</p> <p>In addition to regular Religious Education classes offered at the parish, St. Alphonsus has joined with St. Patrick Church to offer a Catholic elementary education program for Lemont families.
