In addition to a core curriculum of mathematics, English, social studies, science, art, music and physical education, students receive education in Catholic priniciples and attend daily mass. The school also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports, band and theater.

Lemont Safety Village offers education and resource services for the townspeople. It specializes in health and publicMore safety education. These include bike safety, transportation safety, pedestrian, train, animal, fire, water and weather safety, as well as stranger danger for children. Its programs are taught by local fire departments, police department, park district professionals and others. Safety Village was founded through the Lemont Junior Women's Club. 
Mount Assisi Academy

As the only Catholic all-girls high school in Lemont, Mount Assisi Academy is dedicated to encouraging students toMore "discover their God-given talents and to achieve their fullest potential through challenging academics, spiritual development and supportive co-curricular activities."

Mount Assisi is sponsored by the School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King. Students are required to take a variety of classes in the fields of theology, English, mathematics, science, social science, foreign language, physical education and business/technology.

The school graduated 65 students in 2010. Of all graduates, 97 percent continued their education at post-secondary institutions.

Mount Assisi's current principal is Sister Mary Francis Werner. Tina Donahue is the school's president.
