Central School, the oldest school in the Lemont-Bromberek School District, is home to more than 300 students. Like…More River Valley, Central School offers third-, fourth- and fifth-grade classes, as well as an Early Childhood/Pre-K program. As of 2009, 88.7 percent of Central students met or exceeded state standards, according to the Illinois school report card.</p> <p>In addition to having a library, computer lab and cafeteria, Central School features a large playground and basketball courts. Students also have access to The Bowl, a nearby park with baseball and soccer fields. Gina Rodewald is the current principal at Central School.</p>
