I believe it's a little bit if both actually. I have always been one to say they're " being tooRead More cute" with the excessive passing and lack of physicality, and while they should always look for a great shot, it is vital to fire the puck at the net on chances where, it may not be the best, yet good enough for a decent scoring chance. There also needs to be more screening and physicality, so having someone like Brunette or Carcillo play on the PP unit consistently could improve it.

And why does Patrick Kane look like an elite player this year? Any theories on his acceleratedRead More maturity and dazzling play?
Peter Marzano November 17, 2011 at 12:29 am
I think that Patrick Kane is really starting to mature past being a "one-way player". He'sRead More starting to take away the puck more and is also taking advantage of the talent around him. It seems he's starting to figure out when to shoot the puck and is generally getting a better understanding of his surroundings on the ice.
