Lisa, re: your comment--Considering that babies are started on day 1 with vaccines containingRead More formaldehyde, mercury, aluminum and other caustic tissue destroying ingredients and hammering them with over 100 vaccines (some totally unwarranted) by the time they reach age 5, there can be little mystery as to why babies and children get sick. As for genetics, an adult exposed to toxic overload can pass their damaged DNA to future generations. The rates of cancer today have increased over the past 2-3 decades as have the poisons in our environment. The majority of cancers are environmentally caused. It will not improve unless we demand a change in our environment and that would be a huge undertaking with the commitment of a majority, to change a government that allows chemical, pharmaceuticals and other profit hungry corporations free reign to pollute and poison.

Isn't that the ultimate truth. Only argument I would give you Suzanne is population growth. I agreeRead More with environmental issues completely. That is the battle line.
Mike July 24, 2014 at 08:24 pm
Suzanne, you are correct on most of your post but the true cancer growtrh started in the early 50's,Read More just about the time processed food and a lot of suger in your diet arrived.

What a sweet thing to do, and to Mimmie ...evidently hysteria is something that you are comfortableRead More with. You see red and immediately yell Fire! whether there is a flame or not - There is a wide gaping gulf between being beaten and being slapped at or even slapped IF his hand actually connected with her person. How would you feel if you were alone in front of screaming fans who all wanted nothing more than A PIECE OF YOU and you were within arms reach! They didn't want to hurt you, they wanted to love you to bits, just a pinch here and snatch a piece there and some hair, want an eyeball? there wouldn't be anything left but a greasy spot on the floor With love from Atlanta! Grow up Mimmie, people aren't going to let him get away with it? LOL! All he has to do is smile and say 'aw shucks' and people will melt and btw country fans don't mind smacking some girls around every now and then...there's a LOT of songs about that too!

Surviving 2 months implies the dog was fed and cared for for a period of that time. While notRead More necessarily kidnapped, he was evidently kept by someone who probably intended to keep him but, when they discovered the dog was micro chipped and therefore 'hot merchandise', released him to be refound.

I didn't read that the dog got out. There are people that steal dogs too
Mary Beth July 21, 2014 at 02:23 pm
Even the most beloved and cared for dogs get out, get lost; it happens. A neighbor kid or meterRead More reader leaves the gate open, the dog gets off leash on a walk somehow & chases a squirrel; our 'newer' rescue Lab learned to climb the chain link fence after we had him a year! Luckily, he didn't go far, and he showed up at our front door, but he could have wandered. We had to get a new fence. Lost dogs don't always have irresponsible owners. Microchips are wonderful as long as the dog is found and taken to a rescue. So happy for this dog and his family! So many others are not so lucky.

We're NOT alone in the universe! We share this planet with millions of wonderful organisms - thoughRead More we're not very friendly to most of them. If any single, simple organism was found on another planet - at enormous expense! - we would treat that as truly fantastic; and yet we take our fellow Earthly organisms for granted. NASA's budget could save the whales (the largest animals that we know of in the history of the universe) and help protect rainforests and wetlands - the richest organic terrestrial areas in the universe (as far as we know!).
Marlon Brandy July 16, 2014 at 07:56 pm
Who cares? We have enough on our plate with the organisms already on earth. So we get somebody'sRead More radio signals that are two thousand years old. So what? How is that going to help us with the problems we have? NASA is really just a public test facility for the military anyway. Whatever they come up with is primarily for military applications.

Pete...that first statement is real tender! Just because geese are filthy, that doesn't mean youRead More run over animals on the street for fun! I'm republican but for a woman's choice! Tell me, if your daughter was raped by some less than human thug, you wouldn't want to have the right to purge the fetus and real quick! I'm also for the death penalty to be consistent and I could give a damn if they mixed up the chemicals. As for hunting, I'd rather prove myself with the little white ball or the b-ball - what do you prove shooting a defenseless animal, what are you hungry or something? You must be so proud!
Grumpy Old Man May 8, 2014 at 05:01 pm
Actually Deerfield Resident you don't have the right to purge a fetus from your daughter's womb -Read More she does. And are you a vegetarian? If not, do not condemn those who hunt and use the animal for food. I don't approve of hunting just to kill an animal (except for Bears, Chicago Bears that is during the football season) but there is nothing wrong with hunting for food. And I will modify my statement, even if you are a vegetarian, or a vegan like good ole boy, Al Gore, that still is not a valid reason to condemn those who hunt for meat. That's their choice. Be careful when bringing the deity into this conversation - pre- Noah you would be on good ground but post Noah, I'm afraid the scribes and others who wrote the verses in the Tanach would dissent. In any event - this article was about cops escorting a family of geese - Good for them. Of course, the Indiana State Police could have been escorting them out of Indiana for reasons other than purely humanitarian, but I'll leave that alone.
