Founded in 1895, Silver Cross Hospital is a non-profit health care provider that serves members of the Will County and southwest suburban communities. This 289-bed acute care hospital has more than 3,000 physicians, employees and volunteers. It has 10 satellite facilities that provide outpatient services and features the replacement hospital, which opened in February of 2012 and is located at the intersection of Route 6 and I-355 in New Lenox.
