Since its incorporation in 1850, Lemont Township officials have been providing residents with essential services such as roadwork, emergency relief and financial aid for struggling families. With programs such as the Lemont Community Cafe - a lunch program for seniors age 60 and over - the Township remains dedicated to improving the lives of all residents.
The current Township Supervisor is Steven Rosendahl. Barbara Buschman is the Township Clerk and Kenneth Jacobowski is the Township Assessor. The Highway Commissioner is Sigitas Vaznelis. Township trustees are Timothy Garvey, Kathy Henrikson, Gregory Nicklas and Francis Wozniak.
The Lemont Township board meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at 1115 Warner Avenue.
