Looking past every bad experience I've had here, I went to Burger King in Lemont, IL today to grab a Whopper. Went through the drivethru. We pay and go to leave and then we see a sign that says,"Buy one Whopper get one for $0.55". We went back to the drive through, a rude fat Mexican woman comes to the window and I tell her that I would like to get the other whopper for 55 cents as no one mentioned it to us and we just saw the sign. She said she couldn't do it and I asked her why not and she said because it's on the sign. She couldn't just return it and then sell it again with the second one on it. So we told her we did not want the whopper. I handed her the bag back and she then asked us for the $1.11 that the cashier gave us as change from our $5. She inconvenienced us already then asks us to dig out the change that we received instead of giving us the $3.89 that would be the refund amount of $5. She argued with us back and forth for (not an exaggeration) 5 minutes that we need to give her the $1.11 back so she can give us the $5. I told her that she would just give us $3.89 back and that is how a return works. She said I know what it is I have the receipt. YET SHE COULDN'T give the money to us after causing us all this trouble to begin with. It was even laughable that a "manager" isn't able to give the refund let alone COUNT how much she needs to give us back. Then she finally gives us the change. @ home I called to ask who the manager is and she hung up on me!

I don't go there anymore. My order is always wrong. The workers are very rude. I've called AND emailed corporate, but all they can do is forward the message to the individual owner of that franchise. Needless to say, the owner never called the 2 separate times I've tried to make contact. If he/she doesn't care about his customers, then I refuse to give him any more of my money.
Wish there was a "no star" option. I will never step foot in that place again. Husband and I took one of grandsons there a couple of months ago. The place was filthy! Food on the floor, dirty tables, food and dirt on the play equipment. It was just gross. I sent an e-mail to BK and never heard back.
Nasty day old food. They dont clean the store like other BKs. RUDE to people that come back to ask for their money back since the food is always hit or miss. They talk crap about you in spanish thinking you will not understand them. Didnt want to give me BKs corperate number or the owners number to give them my feed back. dust, dirt, old fries and bugs flying in the area. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN OR GET AN ALLLLLLL NEW crew.
I went to this Burger King located at 1276 state st. in Lemont,IL. on 6/13/2011 about 745pm with my husband and two small children. Inside Burger King it was empty, I should of taken the hint and walked away. There was three employees who were speaking Spanish amongst themselves as my husband was placing our order. As my husband placed our order our kids were very excited to go play in there play land. When I went back there with them, there was ants all over the tables and the floors. The outside of the slide had food stuck on it and was dirty and the high chair well I'm not for sure but lets hope that was part of a Hershey pie and not something else on the seat of the High chair nasty!!!! I took my kids immediately out of the play land and went into the restaurant. Every single table was filthy the floor looked like it wasn't cleaned in a couple of days. I advised my husband that we are not going to eat here! If this is how their tables and the kids area looked like I can only picture how the rest looks like. My husband spoke to the asst. manager Gabriel who was yelling at my husband that there is nothing wrong with the food that yes the place is dirty but that doesn't reflect the food when I advised her that this place has multiple health code violations and pointed them out to her that is when she decided to give me my money back. As we were leaving her and her coworkers were saying something loud in Spanish and by the tone in their voices I don't think it was sorry!


I will never eat there again. It has happened to me several times that the drive thru personnel gets my order wrong. It MIGHT be because the person working the drive thru is NOT very proficient in English. Do you think? AVOID THIS STORE!!
