Mission Stay Saturday: Lemont's Hope and Friendship Foundation is seeking volunteers for its final two "Mission Stay Saturdays." On Aug. 17 and Aug. 24, volunteers are needed to help with yard work and small fix-up jobs around town, according to Hope and Friendship founder Terri O'Neill-Borders. The group meets at the Lemont Police Department, 14600 127th St. at 8 a.m. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Greatest Show Unearthed: A group of local hearse enthusiasts is set to take over downtown Lemont on Saturday for its 15th annual "Greatest Show Unearthed" convention. The show, sponsored by the Plainfield-based LasRyds Hearse Club, will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Talcott Square parking lot in downtown Lemont.
