Kids Can Eat Pancakes With Santa This Weekend in Lemont

St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick School is sponsoring the Pancake Breakfast with Santa event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, in St. Alphonsus Church Hall, 210 E. Logan St.

Santa will take time out of his busy schedule to have breakfast with kids in Lemont this weekend.

St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick School is sponsoring the Pancake Breakfast with Santa event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, in St. Alphonsus Church Hall, 210 E. Logan St.

Santa will be there to listen to children’s wishes, hand out candy canes, and have pictures taken.

Adult tickets are $6, seniors and children 4 and older are $4. Children 3 and under are free. Pictures with Santa in a festive photo holder will be available to purchase. 

The event is open to the community and will also include a bake sale.

Also in Lemont this Weekend:

• Lemont High School Concerts: Select members of the choir, along with members of the Concert and Symphonic Bands, will form numerous small ensembles to put on a “Prism” concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6. At 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, the three groups will put on a more traditional concert, with the larger ensembles performing group numbers. Both shows will take place in the school’s Performing Arts Center, 800 Porter St., Lemont.
• Lithuanian World Center's Annual Holiday Craft Fair: The event will be held from 9:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, and from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, 14911 127th St. Vendors will be selling handmade crafts, jewelry, health supplements, clothing, ornaments, art, books, and more. Call 630-257-8787 for more information.
• Jewelry Workshop: The Lemont Library will host artist Allison Beth Cooling for a hands-on jewelry workshop at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7,  50 E. Wend St. Attendees will learn to make a pair of luxe wire wrapped designer-style earrings as well as how to work with chain, create wire frames, wrap beads and work with earwires. The event is open to adults and teens. Registration is required. Cost of materials is $10, and due at registration.
