Sixty-three days until St. Patrick's Day—but the Village of Lemont wants you to start thinking green now. Put on your green caps, and nominate your picks for Lemont's St. Patrick's Day Queen.
The contest is open to Lemont residents, high school juniors through second year college students, preferably of Irish heritage. Candidates must demonstrate an active involvement in school service organizations and/or community service activities.
The nominee who is chosen will reign as Queen of Lemont's 23rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and lead this year's parade in a horse-drawn carriage. For additional information, please contact Donna at (630) 243-2700.
Note: Nomination letters must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on February 7, 2014 and should be submitted to: Village of Lemont, St. Patrick's Day Festival, 418 Main Street, Lemont, IL 60439.
