Lemont Church Hosts Clothing and Toy Resale

Village Board Meeting: The village of Lemont will hold a business meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Village Hall, 418 Main St. To view the agenda, visit www.lemont.il.us.

Lemont Farmers Market: The Lemont Farmers Market will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday in Talcott Square, located at Stephen and Talcott streets.

Week 3 Football: The Lemont High School (1-1) will host Richards on Friday at 7 p.m. The team beat Riverside-Brookfield 44-20 to improve to 1-1.

Clothing and Toy Resale: First Church of the Nazarene, 12725 Bell Road, will hold its annual children's clothing and toy resale Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The sale will feature gently used clothing (baby to size 16), shoes, toys, games, books, electronics, CDs, DVDs, furniture, bedding, room decor, costumes, sports equipment and more. No children under the age of 18 are allowed on the sales floor. Gift certificates will be awarded hourly.

Second Chance Sidewalk Art Sale: Second Chance Thrift Shoppe, 44 Stephen St., will host a sidewalk art sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Girl Scout Pancake Breakfast: The Lemont Girl Scouts will host a pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Lemont Township Community Center, 16300 Alba St. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and tater tots will be served by the Girl Scouts. Tickets will be available at the door—$7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children 4 and older.
