Road Improvements Slotted for Lemont: Which Streets Made the Cut?

Several local roads are slotted for repair, and Lemont officials Monday approved a $576,999.25 bid to get the job done.

K5 Construction will handle repairs to more than a dozen stretches of road, including:

• Lintz Street: east of John Street (529 feet)
• John Street: Freehauf Alley to South Main Street (461 feet)
• South Main Street: State Street to John Street (392 feet)
• Keepataw Drive: State Street to Hillview Drive (1,435 feet)
• Valley Drive: Logan Street to Custer Street (356 feet)
• Custer Street: Valley Drive to State Street (2,001 feet)
• Park Place: Logan Street to Division Street (670 feet)
• Kip Place: South of Keepataw Drive to Rose Hill Drive (777 feet)
• Cass Street: Joliet Street to Stephen Street (1,842 feet)
• Lemont Street: Illinois Street to Division Street (955 feet)
• 119th Street: Kromray Road to Carriage Ridge Lane (310 feet)
• Illinois Street: miscellaneous water service pavement patching
