Runners who have preregistered can pick up their packets at Front Street Cantina between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday or at 8 a.m. the day of the race. Race-day registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

Community leaders and parents formed the not-for-profit Warrior Booster Club to support extra-curricular activities for students at Old Quarry Middle School after the financial situation of Lemont-Bromberek School District 113A forced the board of education to cut activities in 2010.

According to the group’s website, last year, more than 800 students participated in extra-curricular activities supported by the Warrior Booster Club. The activities are made possible by sponsorships, tax-deductible donations – and through fund-raising events such as the Keepataw Family Fun Run.
