The series opened June 5, and returns June 19.

Lemont residents looking for local fun can grab a picnic basket and settle in for a show.

The Lemont Park District, in partnership with The Village of Lemont, has expanded the Sunset Soiree free outdoor concert series to take place five times this summer.

The first concert was sponsored by Country Financial of Lemont and was held on Thursday, June 5, on Stephen Street just north of Talcott Avenue featuring music from Just South of Heaven. The band played from 6 to 9 p.m. and approximately 300 folks enjoyed the show. The next three concerts will take place at the same location.
