Whiz Kids' Accomplishment: The Lemont Athletic Club's fifth-grade boys basketball team has enjoyed a very successful 2012 season. They were recently crowned champions of the Chicago Ridge League, were regular season champions of the Lemont travel league and champions of the Southside Shooters event in December. They took second place in the Elmhurst Airborne Gold Division tournament, and finished an incredible season with a overall record of 37-12.
