The undefeated football team will look to advance to the IHSA Class 6A state championship Saturday as they travel to Peoria Richwoods for

The top-seeded Indians (12-0) will take on the No. 5 Knights (9-3) at 2 p.m. at Richwoods High School, 6301 North University St. in Peoria.

In the 6A quarterfinals Saturday, the with a convincing 29-0 win. Peoria Richwoods beat Danville 20-19.

Saturday's game will mark the Indians' first semifinal appearance since they finished as the state runner-up in 2008.

The winner of the Lemont-Peoria game will head to the state championship against either No. 1 Batavia (12-0) or No. 2 Prairie Ridge (11-1). That game will be played at 1 p.m. Saturday in Batavia.
