Pocic, who was recently given a five-star ranking, finished the 2011 football season with many accolades after leading the Indians to a 12-1 season and an IHSA state semifinal appearance.

In November, he was one of 35 Chicago-area players to be named to ESPNChicago.com's All-Area football team. He also received All-State honors from the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association, as well as First Team All-Area honors from the Chicago Sun-Times.
