The Indians' undefeated season came to an end Saturday afternoon with a 34-31 loss in double overtime.
unbeaten streak came to an end Saturday after a double-overtime loss to Peoria Richwoods in the the IHSA Class 6A semifinals.
The Knights (10-3) eliminated the top-seeded Indians (12-1) with a game-winning field goal — making the final score 34-31.
Richwoods will face Prairie Ridge (12-1) in the Class 6A state championship, which will be played at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
