Lemont Park District Dolphins Win Conference and Advance a Division

Congratulate your Lemont Park District Dolphins who rose above 5 other teams, to be named conference champions Sunday, Feb. 9.

The Lemont Park District Board and Staff would like to congratulate the Lemont Dolphins Swim Team on a huge win at the South Suburban Swim Conference Blue Division.

The Lemont Park District Dolphins are a USA Swimming affiliated club that currently participates in the South Suburban Swim Conference Blue Division. On Sunday, Feb. 9, The Lemont Dolphins attended the 2013-14 Conference Championship at Homewood-Flossmoor High School. Swimmers ranging between the ages of 6 to 18 participate in this conference. Six teams including over 300 swimmers total plus hundreds of guests and spectators attended this exciting event. The other teams represented in this division are Homewood-Flossmoor Swim Club, Palos Area Swim Sharks, Burbank Swim Association, Bradley Bourbonnais Swim Club and Great Illinois Swimmers.

“The Lemont Park District Dolphins lead after the fist two events and never looked back! With this win, the Dolphins will move up to the Gold Division next year. In 2012, the team advanced to the Red Division, in 2013 they advanced again into the Blue Division and in 2014, the Dolphins are now moving up once again! Our swimmers have worked very hard over the last year with the goal of being conference champions and they succeeded! All of the Coaches are very proud of all of our swimmers! Great Job Team!,” said Head Coach Erik Enslen.
