Lemont Baseball Teams Seek Coaches for 2012 Season

The Indians are looking for qualified individuals to coach 8U and 9U teams.

The Lemont Indians travel baseball program is seeking coaches for its 2012 season, the club announced this week.

The Indians are seeking qualified individuals with coaching and/or playing experience to take on the organization's 8U and 9U teams. Currently, there are 10 teams ranging from 8U to 14U, consisting of more than 110 players from the Lemont area.

The Indians play many local games and tournaments, as well as out-of-state tournaments. The 12U team has the opportunity to participate in the National Invitational tournament at Dreams Park in Cooperstown, N.Y.—home of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

The organization is also looking for new players to join its teams. Tryouts for the 2012 season will be held in August for the 8U, 9U, 10U and 11U divisions.
