Girls Soccer: Lemont Wins Regional Title Over Oak Forest
Lemont 3, Oak Forest 0: A dominant second half led by Shannon Briggs power the Indians into the sectionals.
The Hot Read: Lemont had little trouble imposing their will on the soccer field against Oak Forest, keeping the ball on their side of the field for much of the game. Shannon Briggs scored with 31:46 left in the second half, opening up the game for the Indians. Elise Cady and Kimberly Jerantowski scored insurance goals later in the half, securing the 2A regional title for the Indians.
