LHS Deaf, Hard of Hearing Volleyball Team Takes Third in Tourney

Lemont High School's Deaf and Hard of Hearing Team finished 10–4 in tourney play this past weekend.

Lemont High School dominated a weekend of volleyball play at the Harper College Deaf Volleyball Tournament in Palatine Saturday, April 26. 

Lemont High School's Deaf & Hard of Hearing team finished 10-4, coming away with third place. Lemont senior Monica Krumrie and sophomore Keshon Steele earned all-star awards for their performance at the tournament.

Joining Krumrie and Steele on the team were juniors Ryan Glynn, Kiara Harris and Justin Slusher; sophomores Kurt Bernabei, Ashley Mussallem and Greg Schmidt; and freshmen Abby Bernabei and Emre Guven.

The team's coaches include DHH staff members Judy Gray and Eric Smithson.
