Accomplishment: The sixth-grade volleyball team from St. Al's/St. Pat's won their first tournament of the year Sept. 24 at the SS. Peter and Paul Tournament in Naperville.

Keys to Awesomeness: The team kicked off the tournament by winning three regulation games to move to the semifinals against St. Michael's. The teams split the first two games, but St. Al's/St. Pat's prevailed in the third. In the finals, they beat SS. Peter and Paul in two games to win the championship.

Coaches Joan Lenz and Joe Michniak said, “Thanks to great playing by everyone and great serves by Olivia M. and Olivia S., we did well. We had some fantastic unreturned hits and saves from all the girls.”
