Whiz Kids: Old Quarry Varsity Boys Basketball Team

Earlier this month, the team opened their season with a second-place finish in the Westmont Rotary Tournament.

Whiz Kids' Names: Nick Wisz, Rory Cunningham, Austin Tittle, Michael Prasauskas, JP Piazza, Nick Phillips, Matt Uthapan, Greg Schmidt, Alex Musarevski, Casey O'Brien, Noah Morkeliunas, Brant Rohrer and Aldo Pizzoferrato

Whiz Kids' Accomplishment: The Old Quarry varsity boys basketball team kicked off the 2012 season with a second-place finish in the Westmont Rotary Tournament, which ran Jan. 10-14.

Whiz Kids' Key to Awesomeness: Leading the boys throughout the tournament were Nick Wisz and Rory Cunningham. Their strong play earned them a spot on the all-tournament team, Head Coach Jack Williams said.

Rounding out the starting lineup for the weekend were Austin Tittle, Michael Prasauskas and JP Piazza.
