Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: The Hot Shot competition consisted of one player from , St. Cyril, St. Al's/St. Pat's and St. Mary Immaculate. Each participant had 90 seconds to shoot from five different locations. Each location was also assigned a point, ranging from 1 to 5, depending on the degree of difficulty. Kristen made six of the 5-point shots, among others, for a total of 44 points. This was 13 more points than the second-place finisher.

Kristen was also selected as a member of the All-Tournament team. Only one player was named from each school. These individuals, selected by the tournament directors, were chosen as the one teammate that helped their team the most during the tournament by a combination of offense and defense.
