Whiz Kid: Eric Tucker

The Lemont High School sophomore was recently selected to the all-tournament team in the CABA World Series.

Eric Tucker

Age: 15

Grade: Sophomore

Accomplishment: Tucker was recently selected by tournament directors to the Continental Amateur Baseball Association All-Tournament team in the CABA World Series, which was held July 22-31 at various locations in Illinois. The tournament featured the top 54 teams and top players from all over the country.Eric is a member of the Schaumburg Seminoles national team that won the championship by beating the East Cobb Astros twice.

Keys to Awesomeness: In addition to competing in this tournament, Tucker was chosen last year as the team's most valuable player. The team is currently ranked sixth in the country by Perfect Game scouting service.
