What Do You Expect From Your School District?

Lemont-Bromberek School District 113A is seeking input from the community via an online survey that will be available starting Thursday, Nov. 15.

School District 113A is asking the community to help it develop a five-year strategic plan. In a nutshell, the plan will assess where the school district wants to be in the future – and determine what steps will be necessary to get there.

To that end, beginning Thursday, the school district is inviting community members to participate in an online survey -- which will be posted on District 113A’s website and emailed to parents of Lemont-Bromberek students.

The district is also encouraging parents to take the online survey in the computer labs at their children’s schools this week, during parent-teacher conferences.

Survey respondents will be asked to provide general demographic information and rate schools on items such as safety, quality of facilities and management of finances.

The survey will also ask members of the community to prioritize the issues that are most important to them – such as hiring and retaining quality teachers and administrators, ensuring the fiscal viability of the district, lowering class sizes or keeping up to date with technology.
