Graduating seniors received their diplomas Friday during a ceremony in the school's gymnasium.

Lemont High School held a Graduation ceremony for its Class of 2014 on Friday, May 23, in the school's Gymnasium. Nearly 340 students were awarded their diplomas.

Senior Margaret Rogers addressed her classmates and the nearly 2,000 people in attendance, and Ciara Athy presented Superintendent Dr. Mary Ticknor with gifts from the Class of 2014—a new bench to be located inside the "Archway" entrance and a kiln for the Art Department.

Ticknor and Principal Dr. Thomas Trengove both addressed the Class of 2014 as well, while the National Anthem was sung by sophomore Madison Woodrum.
