Old Quarry Middle School just completed an exceptional event; the Old Quarry Student Council hosted a Holiday Food Drive.

Food donations were collected during the first two weeks of December. Thousands of items were collected and brought to the local Lemont Food Pantries.

Student Council also hosted a Winter Wonderland Dance on Dec. 16. The admission to the dance was discounted if you brought in a household cleaning item or personal grooming item to donate (shampoo, tissues, toiletries, etc.).

This is the time of year to help those families in need. Old Quarry and their Student Council members thank those that participated and are looking forward to seeing all the students participate in such outstanding events in the future.
