Old Quarry’s National Junior Honor Society, following its annual tradition, recently inducted 35 seventh-graders into its upcoming 2012-2013 chapter and 10 eighth-graders into the remainder of its current 2011-2012 chapter.
These students have exhibited respectable qualities of leadership, citizenship, service, scholarship and character throughout their Old Quarry years and, upon submitting a formal application to the organization, were invited to become official members.
As seventh graders, 35 of these new inductees will compose the 2013 NJHS chapter, and continue to bring light to the importance of volunteerism and leadership in the community.
